Digital Literacy

Are you new to computers or unsure how to use the one you have? Computers can be overwhelming to the new user to let us introduce you to the basics of how a computer works.  During the three sessions, students of all ages will learn hands-on computer skills and will get a better understanding of computers and how they can help you in your daily life.  you will learn about the keyboard, the mouse and computer terminology.

Introduction to iPhone/iPad Basics

Learn the basic skills that are on everyone's mind. Once you have completed the two-day session, there will be two days to ask your specific questions 1-1 with the instructor.

Intro to Online Privacy Tools

As more of our lives move online, keeping your private information private is a growing concern. In this three week session you will learn tools and techniques users like you can do to avoid spying from corporations, governments and thieves.  In week 2 you will set them up on your phone, tables or laptop and in week three, online email security will be discussed.

Computer Essentials 2

Continue to build on your understanding by exploring the Internet and Email systems.  Join us to discover the World Wide Web and how to "surf the net".  It can open a whole new library of information and uses for your computer.  You will learn web browsers, search engines and web sites so you can find what you are looking for as well as how to create mailing lists with attachments.  Please bring your email addresses and password with you to class.

Excel Level 2

Did you take Excel Level 1 and want to learn more?  this class will build on what you learned in Level one.  We will learn to insert columns and rows. format a spreadsheet, calculate discounts, use the IF and Count functions, sort information in your spreadsheet, and insert additional worksheets.  Completing Level 1 or a good comfort level with Excel are required to take this class.  Bring a jump drive or memory stick to class to save your document onto.
